Pixel XL screen flickering

Has anyone had a issue with the screen flickering at 100% charge...seems to be the new hardware defect in pixel XL devices?

Are you seeing it on yours? I am not seeing it when mine sits at 100% while at work. I usually plug in and leave it till I get caught up in the morning.

My girlfriends screen has been constantly flickering on her pixel xl Day 1 after being fully charged while still being connected to charger ...I have the LG v20 and she just got her pixel xl....

Sounds like she got a defective one. I would exchange it.

I have not had this issue. It is a beautiful device and the best device I have ever had. I'd recommend her get an exchange.

Wow just found this thread...they are right its happening on low brightness mostly while being 100 percent charged

Definitely interesting. When I wake up in the morning I lay in bed and look at how my day will be with my phone while it's still on the charger. I have yet to notice anything (fingers crossed that I don't).

It sounds more like adaptive brightness... It trys to adapt but is not perfect, depending on setting you might see a shift between 40 and 70% with a initial setting at 50℅.

And I spoke to soon....I just had to test it out and my screen flickers as well when on charger at 100% and on a dark or light screen. Guess I'll contact Verizon and see what they say about it. It seems it is only on Google chrome for me though. Idk. Kind of frustrating after coming from my iPhone 7 Plus having the hissing/buzzing issue and having to get a replacement for it.
