Pixel XL to Pixel?

So I have the 32GB Quite Black Pixel XL. I am considering the 128GB Quite Black Pixel. Has anyone gone from the larger size to smaller size and regretted it? I have had the 6S+, 7+, and Pixel XL as my last 3 phones. Is the regular Pixel really that much smaller? Is the screen real estate really a noticeable difference?

There is a recent thread about this somewhere. I am not trying to police, simply trying to point you towards good info.

I did a search but it did not come up. I posted in it though so I know it exist but not being able to find it I figured I would just make one for myself. 😐

I'd be up for more comments from users who've had both. Miss the smaller form factor... Wish you got bigger...

I went to my Droid Turbo 2, which was 5 millimeters shorter but three millimeters wider then the pixel XL.

I I now have the regular pixel, and its smoothness and responsiveness, as well as its hand-ability for my small hands, I don't even miss my larger Turbo 2

That's exactly where I'm at. I don't mind the DT2 size, but I sort of miss the days of comfortable phone in hand and in pockets. I couldn't get a good grasp on the pixels at the vzw store because they had those security attachments.

I don't have a Pixel (yet). I looked at them the first day they hit the stores and again on Black Friday. I currently have a Moto X Pure as my daily driver, but have begun to miss the size of my Droid Maxx.

I am not 100% sure, but will probably go with the Pixel over the XL. I have no interest in VR, I generally don't resell my phones. My only concern is battery life, but I am encouraged by the thread here discussing the Pixel battery life.

How epic would a normal Pixel with a 3500mah battery be? Best of the Maxx and Pixel combined.

So far, I haven't missed the bigger screen that much. I will say that text appears smaller than what I'm used to. I notice the smaller screen the most when I'm trying to edit or view pictures I've taken. I haven't noticed a big difference with videos.

U can make the font larger. Can zoom on picture. Can't make movies look bigger. JMO
