Plants vs Zombie for Android free today at amazon app store

Be careful, it's a damn addictive game. I've been playing it on and off all day :'(

I'm rooted running ReBorn and on 600mhz it runs smooth until the board gets full, then it gets a little slow and laggy. At 768 it's all smooth as butter

Is it safe to overclock it that much?

It's safe to overclock to whatever the phone can handle. If you get lots of random reboots, lower the clockspeed a bit. Once you hit a speed that doesn't cause lots of random reboots, leave it there. Mine runs 806 nice and stable, and runs 837 or whatever it is pretty well, but reboots if I put the processor under stress at that speed.

Opinions are divided as to whether or not overclocking "hurts" processors, but most agree that if it's actually detrimental, it's a very small effect. Plus I'm pretty sure our phones don't change voltage to overclock, so any damaging effects are further minimized (or eliminated).

Anyone find out if it runs well on the Nook Color? Downloaded it but didn't play it yet.

If you uninstall an Amazon free game, can you download it again for free?

it's meh. touch alignment is messed up near the top so you have to touch just above your plant icons. graphics are stretched and ugly... but all in all, it works

yep. i just download them all but only install the ones that i want. i do this just in case i change phones and can run the other apps that i didn't install earlier.

I'm bummed I missed this! But I happened to find a free task killer program while searching for the plants vs. zombie game. Didn't check to see the original post date :(

After learning that task killers do more harm than good.....I dumped mine, gained at least 10% battery life and never looked back.....
