Were any of you actually able to download and install the Plants vs. Zombies game from the Amazon store over WiFi? I've been trying since yesterday to get it downloaded and no luck. Figgin NS4G won't hang onto a WiFi session long enough to get it down loaded... It's gotten close but no install yet...

I even parked my NS4G on the charger Right beside the WiFi router.. -35 +/- dbm of signal according to the network app. Should have only taken a few minutes...

Just reaffirms the crappy WiFi this thing gets... it's going back for sure in a week or so... I'll go back to my Palm Pre for a couple of weeks until the EVO 3D comes out. (Unless they provide a fix for $#itty signal issue. not having solid WiFi is as big of a deal breaker as the spotty 3G.

Yours truly,

Annoyed NS4G Owner

I had no issues with disconnecting but the download for me was very slow... I don't blame you and I think if you don't want to wait for the update, you should just go back to your Palm and just get the EVO 3D.. BUT I can assure you that there will be problems with that phone too..

I feel your pain. The Nexus refuses to connect to my router at home so I had to go to my local McDonald's to troll internet. Even then it was slow to download the game.

I had a lot of disconnect issues while trying to download it. Very frustrating. I eventually was able to get the download. I sat my phone upright and did not let the screen shut off. I sure hope they issue a fix soon. On a happier note...I was amazed that despite the many attempts, the eventual success, some play time, telephone calls, emailing and texting, my battery was still going strong after 14 hours. I love this hardware and am getting used to the OS. JUST FIX THE RADIO ISSUES and I will never go back to my overclocked, launch day, hacked together webOS 2.1, mega-patched PRE.

Me too. Just took sometime thanks to the heavy traffic.

took about 10-15 minutes and i was roaming around my apartment. not the fastest but it worked

No problem at all. I did not even use WiFi as we don't have it at work. DL'ed using 4G speed in under 3 minutes.

I had no problems, I would say you have an issue with your router. I have had pc's that would not connect to certain router models before. My NS4G has not problems with my Linksys DD-WRT router.

No way on earth I would accept a router issue...

I have 4 laptops, 1 shop computer, 1 home office computer, 3 phones (NS4G exlcuded), a Wii, 2 Blu Ray players, and a PS3 that all connect and function perfectly on my wireless network...

The NS4G is the problematic item...

I did finally get the game downloaded... though...

How did you finally get it to download? I have a Droid X and I keep getting an error while downloading. It doesn't really seem to download anything before the error comes up. I'm connected to wifi that works and everything.

Plugged it on the charger and near the WiFi router... walked away for a couple of hours and came back and it was ready... I checked it about every half hour and had to restart it a couple of times...

I was able to get it to work by uninstalling the amazon app and reinstalling it. The problem was that amazon was using a credit card that I had cancelled to make the purchase but the app wasn't recognizing the error.
