platinum case - help!

So I just dropped by best buy and picked up the platinum case they have. I like it ok, but I can't for the life of me get it off! Somebody somewhere said something about pushing down on the corners where the two pieces meet, but this doesnt seem to be working and I'm incredibly paranoid about applying any more pressure to my new baby :-(
Somebody help please!

yep..just press down on the bottom piece where they both connect right in the middle
