Play iTunes with assistant

I use iTunes as my music source. can I like iTunes to Google assistant to be able to play music ?

Yeah it says I haven't selected my default music player and when I do iTunes is not listed amongst Google player and Pandora

I believe that you have to be able to download the app and set it as your default music source. for instance, I use Spotify for everything, so my Spotify account is set as default.

I know you can probably set Apple Music as default, since you can download the app. but I don't think there's an Android version of itunes, so I don't know how likely that will be.

Do you mean Apple Music? iTunes is a PC/Mac program.

Did you set the assistant to use it instead? Hold down the home button and click that blue button at the top right of assistant. From there you can setup your music preference.

Great reminder I forgot about setting up shortcuts and once in awhile just assume Google or the assistant couldn't do that, just set up a shortcut for Google Music with two words (play music) worked excellent thank you

Ah yep you're right. Looks like you can't use it with Assistant until Apple makes it work with it.
