So, I signed up for the play trial after the I/O announcement. The first bill was to be charged yesterday, but, in the intervening month, there was fraud on my credit card and Discover sent me a new card/new account number.
I got an email today that my trial was cancelled, I suppose since they couldn't bill the old account. I was a little bummed thinking I would lose the $7.99 pricing. But when I went to try to sign up again, I was given another 30 day trial and still got the discounted pricing.
And all the music I had added to my library is still there too. I was wondering if it would all be wiped out immediately, but apparently not.
Just a heads up.
