I wanted a remote control for Chromecast so i did a search to see if anyone made one. Turns out I don't need it!
There was a firmware change earlier this year that enabled hdmi-cec control for play and pause, so most TV remotes will now pass those commands to the Chromecast. Neat!
It works with most apps so long as your TV has the hdmi-cec feature, which most recent-ish ones will have.
I didn't know about this until I happened to do a search so I'll post here for anyone else who doesn't know about it.
