play store updates complete notification blocked

so....this one has actually succeeded in giving me a complex...

a poster on the google support forums put it pretty succinctly so I'll link to the thread here with highlights below.

my device is a schok volt sv55 running android 11 go.
I linked the thread as the OP in that thread pretty much said exactly what I was going to here.
lone toggle, access notifications via about app, hit toggle, come back, toggle turned off again....help?

I remember that being a issue on my devices for awhile never alert me , report to Google , i think its there issue.

There actually is an option now in the Play Store's notification settings (in the app's own menu) where you can toggle the "Updates completed" notification. I keep it turned off, but at least the option is there.

Does it only work when you have apps set to automatically update , i manually update when i see its available or check play store often .

I don't think so -- it looks like it'll notify when an update is complete regardless of how it's done.

DnD is set to go on at 2am and turn off at 9am. on both the schok volt phone and my samsung tablet. my samsung notifies of updates. the schok volt however..doesn't and the toggle turns itself off.

how exactly do I report this problem?

and submitted...except theres no way to supply a screenshot..which I took, in preparation for this. kind of funny...samsung makes it painfully hard to get a screenshot.
