I just noticed that when I download a new app to my phone it ask me if I want to download it to my Galaxy tab. I think this is very nice the way the two devices work together.

Is that specific to Samsung devices? I know that with a recent Play Store update, you can choose which of your devices (regardless of brand) you want to install to, but I'm wondering if the prompt you're talking about is different. Can you show a screenshot?

Sometimes it shows the model numbers.

I checked on my Pixel 7 Pro -- it's a general feature for any device. On mine, it says "Install on phone. More devices available." since my watches and Chromebooks are also options. Pretty neat!

I just started noticing the other day and thought it was a great idea.

I remember back around 2016 when I was running 2 phones and a tablet it would offer this option if the devices were compatible with the software. So, I'm guessing it's just the first time you noticed it.

I noticed it the other day when I was downloading this Direct TV Streaming app to my phone. We were told only Samsung TV's have the app and we have a Sony Android TV. My husband said he didn't see it in the app store but when I went to my phone I noticed it said download to other devices it had my TV and it downloaded.
