Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster. I've had the S5 (T-Mobile) for about three months now and haven't had any major issues until now. Normally I keep my phone in Vibrate or Silent, and my alarm goes off every morning, with sound, no problem.
Last night I downloaded an app called Sleep as Android and it seems to have completely disabled the sound for my alarm when in Vibrate or Silent. I immediately deleted the app upon discovering this, and now I can't get my alarm sound to come back. It vibrates, but no sounds. Even though alarm type is set to 'sound and vibrate.' It plays fine when I take the phone out of Vibrate or Silent.
In the Sound settings for both Vibrate and Silent mode, all sounds are silenced except for music/media/etc. I hear there's a 'play alarm in silent mode' setting somewhere but I can't seem to find it. It is not an option under the Alarm settings, nor is it an option under Sound settings.
Please help! I need my alarm to make sound!
