Playing music directly from folder on Incredible

I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find an answer to this.

I have a folder that I call "WTF" and it contains a TON of various random songs from a bunch of different people. I want to be able to play just that folder of songs and also to be able to shuffle them (since they're all in alpha order in the folder). I haven't figured out a way to do this with the stock music player on the Incredible. I downloaded bTunes hoping I might have a little more control to be able to do this but wasn't able to figure this out with that program either.

I don't want to create a playlist. I just want to go to that folder and hit shuffle. On my BB and my Sandisk mp3 player I can do this and it's easy.

Am I just missing something easy or is this just not possible? I really hate to have to start carrying around my mp3 player again. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Download Meridian. It's a free media player and let's you specify folders.

Just in case anyone else was interested. Yesterday I found an app that I like much better than Meridian. It's called MortPlayer Music and it's free. It has a much better UI and is only folder based.
