Playing Music from my Library on Google Play Music

I just purchased two Google Home Mini devices. For some reason, I cannot get them to play any music from my library on Google Play Music. Everytime I ask it to, it says it can't play it, but it plays a radio station based on what I asked. It seems from other forums that other people are having the same issue. Has anyone been able to fix this?

I have asked mine to play my playlist in play music and it works fine. It needs the exact name though otherwise it doesn't find it nor look for something similar. Haven't tried particular artists, genres, etc.

I think my Home has asked me to choose in the app what media source I want to play from. Try looking through the app to see if you can select Google Play Music in there.

I have, and Google Play Music is selected. Still not working.

There is a large discussion about this on the Google Home forum. It does not work for content you have uploaded unless you use a playlist. If you say "Hey Google play xyz from my library" you will be directed to a radio mix. Some have stated the metadata in your uploaded music is bad, I for one can say that's not the issue, my metadata is fine.

The only time it seems to work for your music is if Google does not have that album in their premium service. I have confirmed this with some unusual jazz albums that I have. They work fine, but anything that Google has they won't let you play it unless you use a playlist.

And this issue has been going on for months and Google has done nothing to fix it.
