Playing music from SD card

I put in an SD card and loaded music on it from my computer. I can't find the songs/get them to play. Any suggestions?

The music player that you're using may not look on the SD card - try a different one. (Google's Play Music can be set [in its Settings] to look in external storage.)

Note - if you formatted the card as internal storage, you no longer have an "SD card" to select from.

Try resetting Google Play Music and reboot the phone. It forces the app to rebuild the music database.
