Now when it boots it gives me a "nook color encountered a problem that requires a system restart"

I thought I read the directions properly, But I just selected the wrong drive in win32diskimager. Please tell me how to fix this I just bought the device last night.

I continued with the auto nooter and it showed the android boot and new homescreen but still gives me the error.

I can't believe I messed up like this, Ive rooted other android devices before and never messed it up this bad, I think it was just the excitement of having a nook color, Ive been wanting one for months.

*Edit* Im attempting the restore to rooted stock sticky above ill let you know how it goes.

Your NC is showing up as 40mb ?? I guess you talking about Micro SD Card. Format it using pc, it will be fine.

yes my NC shows up as 40mb in windows file manager.

Also getting an sd card damaged icon even though theres no sd card inserted

Is there a way to reformat the nook colors drive? its showing up as fat, not fat32 if that matters. I know that there are some restrictions on Fat/32 drive sizes.

Im wondering if i should just try to return it and exchange it.

Im just going to return it in hope of an exchange and play it off like i dont know whats wrong just that its showing me errors right out of the box and when i plug it into my computer via usb its only show up as 40mb

This is the first time I am hearing about NC 40mb ! I can't think of any solution as of now, so wait for others.

[If I were you I would have restored it to Factory by booting off with CWR SD card]
