Please HELP! E-mails with attachments will NOT send in my gmail account! Note 2

Hi,

I bought a Note 2 about a month 2. I can't send anything with an attachment through Gmail. I have been reading up what to do. I have done the following:

Went to outbox to try and send the mail.

Turn the phone on and off.

Deleted all my apps.

Taken the battery out and put it back in.

Please what can I do to send through Gmail!

Are you using the Gmail app or the email service that comes with the note? If you are using the service that comes with the note, I can't help but if you download the app from google store, go to the message that you want to send or if it's a message you are replying to, hit the reply button and type whatever message you would like to type and then hit the "menu" button in the lower left corner of the phone-I believe it's called a menu button and there will have options to attach a picture or a video.

Now that I am re-reading your post, are you trying to send an email that already has an attachment as a forward or are you trying to create a new attachment?

Thanks for trying to help! I am using the gmail app that came with the phone. I tried yesterday to attach a picture that I took and send it was a new e-mail with the gmail app that came with the phone and it would not go through. It just said sending.

Interesting. I know gmail has a limit on the size of photos it will send but if you sent it from your phone, it should be small enough to go through. I did read a webpage that said gmail had a delay in sending messages a couple days ago but that shouldn't affect you from yesterday.
