I'm on a state of not knowing what to do. Since the arrival of my phone last December (it's a Lumia 1520), my usage of my Nexus 7 (2013) decreased. Since my phone is always on my pocket, it has been a real daily driver for me. It has a very great and reliable. battery life, great screen and most of the apps are in WP except Google services of course. Flipboard is rumored to come but I don't usually use it on my Nexus 7. And there are other great news reader for WP.

I realized that WP is not really a bad OS ever since my phone was a Lumia 625 before. What I realized was there is a lot of people who say negative stuff about WP either because they don't know how to use it, therefore not maximizing its effectiveness, or because they haven't tried it yet and their adherence to iOS or Android is pure fanboyism. But I respect those who know a lot about these mobile OS'es and chooses an OS to avoid the compromises of the others.

And now, with the arrival of WP 8.1, things just got better for my phone. So I thought I'd be selling my tablet to save some money.

But here's the catch. If that happens, I'd be selling my mobile WiFi too, which has a SIM attached to it, and planning to buy a sub-200 Android phone. Why Android? I know how to root Android device so I can maximize the potential of whatever phone Id be buying (and it won't be from the Nokia X series). And so I can take care of the compromises of WP. With this move, I lessen gadgets in my life (the mobile WiFI) while still having an Android device. And I'll also be saving money.

Then after that, I'll be setting my eyes on a Windows 8/8.1 tablet-hybrids. I see that Windows 8/8.1 has a lot of productivity apps and therefore, it is for the business-inclined. Android has also productivity apps but Office does not work online for it. It has Kingsoft and Quickoffice but Office 360 is a way lot better than this apps when you have a WP device. But I'm not considering Windows RT.

For those who already had a lot of experience with Android tablets and phones, WP and Windows 8/8.1 tablet-hybrids, what can you advise for me?
