Hi, I just received an android htc G1 from tmbile, it is been having a really weird problem, as normal, you hit the end call button to lock the phone, and if you press any button it will be back as normal...
the thing is that when you leave the phone locked by say 8 mins, the screen will not come back, not displaying anything, not even light...

Can someone help me please!!! I will really appreciate it!!

and just a battery pull will get me back to normal...

Sounds like a faulty G1. Take it back, show problem, demand replacement.

Reset the phone but first are you rooted and running a custom ROM? I had this issue but it wasn't very often and certainly nothing to be annoyed by because I didn't have to pull the battery and such just pressed menu twice and it was fine. Its more of a hiccup but my G1 is still going strong.
