Please help. my S3 is stuck at SAMSUNG screen.

I have 4.3 on my S3 and I did a factory reset. Now my S3 is stuck at SAMSUNG screen. I have Kies 3 and tried to re-install and I get to the Android screen where it says volume up to upload or volume down to cancel. I push volume up and it does nothing. I puch volume down and it cancels. Any ides?
