Please help regarding saving to SD Card.

This is my first Galaxy phone. I have a 64GB Sandisk card. I have only saved 2 pics from Firefox, 2 more pics and 2 music files attachments from my email. All of
these are saving to the internal memory though. I even went into the My Files app and "moved" them onto my card. However.....when I look
at the storage menu, all of the items are still under the internal memory, and I have just have an un used SD card that is completely empty.
Am I not doing something correct? It seems like something should be showing up on the sd card. I have read many other problems with the storage,
but at least they seem to be able to get something such as music and pics on their cards. It's frustrating and probably an easy fix that I cannot
figure out, since I am new to this phone.

so if you remove the card to your pc the files are not there?

Make sure the sd card is properly formated (FAT32) on a computer then put back into the phone and mount. It should fix the problem.
