Please Help ! S8 SM-G950U. Recently open apps are closing by its own, how can i fix this ?

For example, If I exit from the original app to the desktop or another app, original app is fully closes by itself and just restaring. It is not disappearing from "recently" apps list. Even if i go to "recently" apps list, app that was open is fully closes. I am definitely sure this a RAM problem. Battery saver option disabled. System settings were reset to default. How can i fix this ? (Android 8.0)

Welcome to Android Central! Any 3rd party "RAM booster" or "phone cleaner" apps installed? Also, check your Game Launcher app -- are any performance option turned on there? Those might cause non-game apps to close out of RAM more quickly.

Using Only "Device Maintenance" in android settings. Game Launcher is off.

Is this for every app you use, or only certain ones?

Every app. It's just cleaning cache and ram.

It clears the apps cache and clears the RAM by closing background apps. It doesn't work all the time while I using my phone.

No, I mean what app is cleaning cache/RAM -- are you talking about the preinstalled Device Maintenance app? If so, is it set to do things automatically?

Yes, im talking about preinstalled device maintenance app. It's not doing anything automatically.

Hmm. Does it matter if you exit the app by tapping Back until it exits vs tapping Home?

Does this also happen in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34283. You'll only be able to test preinstalled apps, but it can still help figure out if the problem is due to something you installed.

Yes, same problem even in safe mode.

Try shutting down you device and turning back on, that use to fix all types of glitches I use to get when I own my S8+

Safe Mode would have entailed rebooting the device, so I doubt a regular reboot would do anything. Won't hurt to try, I guess.

Do you know anyone else with an S8 that you can compare with? Not having one myself, it's hard to know what's normal for it.

Unfortunately, I do not know anyone who would have an S8. I’m going to the service center this week, hope at least they can help. But, anyway, thanks for the help !
