PLEASE HELP

first thing i did was titanium backup full backup + user data

I downloaded pc36img.zip of sprint lovers went straight into recovery and tried to install (facepalm)

saw it get stuck in the htc brilliant screen and restored a nandroid backup that was old AS ****! from october...needless to say at this point im only going backwards...

now I just want to try and get back to square one which is reload the backup that i did with titanium but this god damn program won't see the backup no matter what i do ive searched and searched....I know the backup is there because I can see the titaniumbackup folder on my sd card Ive even copied it to my desktop just in case.

Thanks in advance,

Have you tried to go into recovery, wipe all, and then try to flash the Sprint Lovers ROM again?
Out of curiosity did you verify the MD5 of the Sprint Lovers ROM before flashing it?

Then you could restore the Titanium Backups.

I DID CHECK THE MD5 OF SPRINTER LOVERS (sorry caps) rom...i did not do a wipe all...

how come i can not do a restore of titanium backup now of where i am currently at which is at a restored point of an old nandroid backup but i will be able to after i install the rom?

Not sure why Titanium Backup didn't work for you on the old backup.

If you wipe first, then flash the Sprint Lovers ROM, you should be up to date on your ROM and be able to install Titanium Backup and restore.

trying this now and will post...im almost done with the new rom install...will install TB and hope to be able to restore.

think it worked with new rom...that was scary...next time need to do TB backup + nandroid backup...instead of just tb backup...im not a big fooling round with roms just did sprint lovers to have most up to date nfo.

Titanium will just back up your apps and app data. Not the installed system, its a good habit to get in to to create a nandroid backup before you do any ROM flashing. You can do this with rom manager and even name each one if you want to easily switch between roms.
