Please I really need help installing cwm

ok first i tried to install cwm and it said this...
E:failed to open/sdcard/update.zip(No such file or directory) E:signature verification failed installation aborted...
.then i put the file into the root of my sd card like advised and changed the name to update.zip then tried to flash it again now it says only this E:signature verification failed installation aborted... its almost the same message but not quite.I really need help getting this on my continuum.Once again any help is very greatly appreciated!!!!!
