Pls Help

I have the HTC One international version (CID: HTC_622) with clockworkmod recovery v6.0.3.1 on the ROM trickdroid.
Everything works fine as far as the ROM goes but when i try flashing the recovery in ROM manager, it gives me the error "an error occurred while flashing your recovery" after it reaches 100. I want to switch back to the stock ROM or wipe the phone entirely (no root) but I did not root my device properly as i used Mac OS and android file transfer (i have access to a windows pc now). i also forgot to back up my original stock rom. Any help would be appreciated.

See if you can find the international RUU file. That's the best easiest way to go back to straight stock.

RUU's - Bugsy Lawson's Resource

You can find the list of RUU files there. Download the right one for your device, relock your boatloader, and double click the ruu file on a windows machine. Let it run it's course.

Make sure you have the battery charged up as well. This should give you the desired result.

thanks, i checked my device with root checker and it gave the message "this device does not have proper root access". Will run the ruu once it's finished downloading.

Make sure you run the RUU on a windows machine.

Rom manager does not work correctly for this device flashing recovery. Use the adb commands to properly install it.

i re-locked bootload and i tried to run the RUU. It prompted me to "verify that you want to update the ROM version from image version 1.29.708.16 to image version 1.29.707.3. I clicked continue and everything went fine until after installing signatures which that it couldn't complete because it was the wrong RUU

I'm stuck on the relocked screen and which contains:
HBOOT-1.44.0000
RADIO-4A.3250.13
OpenDSP-v.26.120.274.0202

I downloaded and ran this RUU that i got from RUU's - Bugsy Lawson's Resource
RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.29.707.3_R_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_311678_signed.exe

Idk off hand which RUU is for Hong Kong, but you might want to check the HTC one original development thread on XDA. Trust me I feel you're pain. Had to run the RUU two days ago.

You have the right RUU so to speak its a older version and thats why it wont work. With s-on you can not use a older version RUU, Did you take a OTA update ?
If you can flash a recovery back onto the phone, go here and see if you can find a backup for your versin and try it

no, i didn't update. I looked through some HK forums and they said this was the latest stock ROM coming from HTC.
I can't seem to find anything with 1.29.708.16 anywhere. does that mean i have to wait for a new version ):

Get on a Windows machine and get ready.

It's going to take a while, but follow the instructions on THIS TOOL over at XDA. It should be able to get you where you need to be.
