This is kind of an old app but I just used it so I thought I would share my experience with it. I bought X-Men First Class and it has Pocket Blu on it. All I had to do was put the Blu-Ray in my networked Blu-Ray player (ps3) and using my Xoom I scanned the QR code that came with the Disc. Then it let me transfer the digital copy onto my Xoom. It worked really well and took no more than 10 min to do. The only downside is I think I have to use the app to watch the movie but that's not a big deal.

Hopefully more movies will work on Pocket Blu.

I just tried it last night and could not get it to work. Do you have to leave the blu ray at the "Digital Copy" screen while it transfers? I tried that too, and my Xoom just sat at the "Please Wait" screen with the spinning circle. Maybe I just didn't give it enough time...

Is there any other way to get the digital copy without using Pocket Blu? When news came out in the summer that they were finally bringing digital copies to Android, it said you would just need to connect your phone to your computer and transfer it that way. Were they wrong or is there another way to do this without going thru the Pocket Blu process?

I think you have to leave it on the digital copy screen. It failed the first time for me. After that it worked and took no longer then 10 min.

There might be other ways but this was the only way I tried. I found RIO also does the Pocket Blu digital copy transfer.

There was an update to Pocket Blu yesterday that took care of my issue. Worked perfectly after that. So if anybody is having problems try it again after the update.

When the blu-ray is running open Pocket Blu and it will detect the disc. Then go to "My Videos" or whatever the folder is called and you should get the X-Men movie in there. You open that and select digital copy then tap the Activate Digital Copy button and it will start the camera to scan the code. After that you get a licensing agreement. Once you agree it should say Please Wait for a few seconds then start downloading. You have to have the blu ray open to the digital copy screen for it to download.
