When we have listened to the podcast that are on our device ( i use Listen)
Are they stored on our device? also How do we delete the listened ones from the list.

I came from a palm Pre where all we had to do was swipe to delete podcasts that we had already listened to..

I noticed mine are stored on my sd card. I haven't tried deleting any yet

That sucks. what dir. did you see them under?

I wish there was a way to just stream them form their source and delete them from the list once listened.

What app are you using? Most of them have options for how many episodes are stored.

I also have a Pre and not being able to swipe sucks but I'm getting used to it. Have you tried a long press yet? I think with android you open up the options to delete, move, copy, paste, etc. by holding the icon for a while and then you get the options to do what you need to do.

I think you should try BeyondPod, which allows you to delete, schedule and set how many podcasts should be downloaded/available per feed (deleting old ones). I was a drPodder user, but BeyondPod seems to be doing a great job at replacing it.

In Listen, go to "Recently played". There you can long press on a podcast and pick "Remove Download". Alternatively, click on the podcast, hit menu, then "Remove Download". When I did this, the number of files in my com.google.android.apps.listen/dowloads folder reduced by one, so I think it was marked as deleted.

Another question in beyondpod what features does the full version have over the lite version?

What are the limitations in using the Lite version over the Full?
