Poll: how did your Note 4 die? Is it still working?

My Note 4 died - one day it would not boot - it was stuck at the 1st sign of booting (After initial screen).

I tried everything even tried Factory Reset from recovery mode

Even tried to flash a rom it just kept getting worse.

Note: It also started getting really hot after not much use first

Considering getting a new one! As my 2nd Phone

I still have both a Note 3 and 4 in service myself. Both were bought new. I have the Note 20 Ultra as well.

I have 2 or 3 if you count the Edge mode. N910C and N910P which was brand new since November 2022. N915T was bought in December. N910P and N915T are running Kitkat while N910C is running Android 5.1.1 due to Samsung locking the bootloader on Exynos model if you updated to COJ5. All 3 are pretty snappy. Daily driver is a Note 9 on Oreo.
