Poor bluetooth quality

I've had the LG G6 since it's release. I'm on my third phone. Had it replaced twice under warranty. Any Bluetooth device I connect to plays music, but it's incredibly distorted. I'll connect my LG tablet to the same devices, and it's fine. Anyone else have this problem? I've cleared the Bluetooth cache, factory reset the phone, I'm just about out of options and ready to go back to the V20.

I've connected to all kinds of devices (Sony headphones, Hyundai nav head unit, Vizio soundbar system, Skullcandy ear buds) with zero distortion or issues.

Interesting. Bluetooth on my G6 has been great! Far superior to that on my previous G5 and V20. I have had much better range and sound quality than my previous tw
o phones. All of them were the AT&T variants.

Connected these same devices to all of them. JBL Charge 3, Oontz budz 2, and Buick Regal via Iclever Himbox HB01.
