Has anyone noticed that the scaling of pictures since the ICS push is not very good? My contact list pics are a bit fuzzy looking because the phone isn't scaling them properly (too large) and when I get a pic via MMS in Handcent, it's scaling is also off and it loses its sharpness. This, to me, is a major downgrade from Gingerbread and I can't understand why the previous accurate scaling wasn't retained.
On a side note, after I did a factory data reset, I did see some improvement in the battery drain while the phone is idle (Smart Action used to turn data off when the phone is locked because my office is a very poor signal point). All is not good, however. The battery definitely drains in bigger chunks when calls are made or apps are used. Maybe this is the enhanced use of the dual processors but the culprit seems to be the display which yesterday was using 70% of the battery. That's with my display set to Auto (and its more pronounced dimming than GB) and with the display power saver on.
Quick addition. The default gallery may be part of the problem. When you open a pic, it is scaled properly but if you double-click it, instead of being enlarged with correct scaling, it blows up to full screen and looks pretty bad. You can pinch and manually enlarge the pic to a reasonable extent before it begins to blur. It still seems to me that Gallery worked better in GB.
