Poor Radio reception

[AC Question]

I've been listening to two radio stations- Classic FM and Smooth- on my Galaxy S7. I'm less than impressed with the performance. Whilst out and about, both stations stop, and when I check my phone, the screen has a little spooling thing going round. Sometimes it comes back on, and some times it doesn't come back on at all. My sim is a giffgaff one.
