I live on a slope and as soon as you drop into the house most signal drops. I've always had to go outside my house and onto the street to accept any phone calls.
I've bought a new phone (Xiaomi 15) and am still having the same issue.
If I make a WhatsApp call the quality is fine. But if I try to wi-fi call a landline it's so patchy even when I'm right next to the router (think waiting ages for the Drs and as soon as they answer they can't hear you so hang up- on repeat).
We've got good WiFi and internet connection (my husband uses it a lot so has made sure it's as fast as possible).
It's been a problem across 2 phones and also 2 networks.
Everyone's phone signal drops in our house or it's patchy.
But I can't figure out why I can't call a landline using my WiFi call and still have to go outside until I get better 4G.
I'm at the point I just want another landline!!

Have you tried rebooting your router? How many other devices are on your Wi-Fi network? What bands and what channels is your phone connected to on your network? Are you using any VPN?
