Pop-up clipping after copying text: Can I stop it?

When I cut or copy text, I get this little bubble pop up. It often blocks something I want to do and I'd rather it didn't pop up. Is there any way to stop it?

Something similar pops up when I do a screenshot, but that's useful because I often want to edit the screenshot.

I don't see a way to do that on Gboard. Send feedback to the developer from within the Gboard settings menu about this.
