popping noise with the buds

Just got my pixel 2 along with the buds, I notice that there's a random popping noise when scrolling in the phone's menus or Google now. Any idea what is causing this? Its too the point where I can not have them on for longer than 5 mins

I don't have those but it sure sounds like interference from the touch screen is causing that for some reason. Time to contact Google support.
