popup warning of malicious ads, is my phone compromised?

I have a Huawei P20 Pro. I received multiple notifications that an app on my phone appears to be infected and I should uninstall in. Has my phone been infected with malware, or are the apps found to have gone against google's security policies or something? Thank you! I'll try to add a screenshot of the message

Welcome to Android Central! It'd be helpful to know which app is giving you that popup. It does look like a real notification from a security app, but I can't tell if it's Google Play Protect, some Huawei security app, or something else. Do you have any 3rd party antivirus apps installed?
