Possibility of G3 Shipping Early?

I'll preface by saying I've never really pre-ordered a phone from T-Mobile before.

T-Mobile states on their website that the G3 will ship BY 07/15; or in other words, no later than the 15th of July.
Has T-Mobile ever been known to ship devices prior to their "by so-and-so" dates?

I feel their choice of words leaves the possibility of this device shipping early open.
Or at least one can hope, right?

I like Blackberry 10, but I'm getting very tired of not having an Android device -- ended up selling my Z2 about a month ago in preparation for either the G3, Find 7 or OnePlus One (G3 won, obviously).
