So I got wise today and decided I would try and root my phone, I did so successfully and then I overclocked it. All of that was fine and then I tried to install a theme from a website following a list of instructions.
This is where the phone may have been bricked I think, I went to install and I had all of the files on the phone and then I went to enter a command through the command line
su
mount -o rw,remount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
cp /sdcard/nextheme/framework-res.apk /system/framework/
reboot
After I entered the third line of the command and pressed enter the droid rebooted before I could enter the command to reboot.
I can access recovery mode, and I reformatted everything, cache and factory reset and still nothing the phone loads, then displays the Motorola "M" and then it attempts to display a fancy wordart "droid" (which I'm assuming was with the new theme I was installing) and then the screen goes black.
I've tried everything I could think of. I'm open to ideas...
