Hi, I thought I'd share this little tip for you. Recently I awoke to a totally dead kindle, after a moments thought i decided to put it in the freezer, put it in a carrier bag first, an hour later i removed it from the freezer, it turned on. With a thermometer icon, twitching on screen, I let it thaw at room temperature for another hour, and voila! it powered on and works!
