Possible for a small but mighty Android phone?

I used 3Gs many years back, then Android all the way. The largest Android phone I ever used was OnePlus One. I bought it because I wanted a powerful Android phone. Unfortunately the phone dropped on the floor more than ever. So I sold it away and got myself a 6s due to its smaller size (4.7" screen) yet mighty. I'm still using 6s and still hoping for a "small but mighty" Android phone because I somehow prefer Android. I wonder if I can dream about it or this is just not possible?

Samsung presumably has a high end folding phone that I've seen mentioned. No idea when/if it will be available.

Many of us wish for small but mighty Androids. There are one or two good small Android phones currently made. By 'one or two', I do in fact mean 'one'. But it may be suitable for you.
There's a rumoured Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini, with a small-bezel 5.3" display. Even so, it could not be much smaller than say a Nexus 5, which I'd say was medium rather than 'mini'.

Edit: Latest news on the rumoured Sammie seems to be that it won't happen. :(

There's Xperia XZ Compact that's coming soon, there's the budget Samsung A3 2017, and that's about it for sub 5 inch phones.
