I was on XDA forums the other day and if any of you are having battery problems you can try this out, so far it has worked for me.

1. on your Galaxy S3 home screen press the menu button
2. go into settings
3. click on WiFi (don't turn WiFi on)
4. then click on the menu button again when the menu pops up click "advance"
5. there's an option called "keep WiFi on during sleep" click on it
6. Change it to never, or only when plugged it... your decision

this should help you out with a little extra juice. I do not take credit for this, but I'm just trying to help us fellow Galaxy S3 owners out a little bit

*note* changing the option to never may increase your data usage so be careful if you select the *never option* I have unlimited data so I'm OK, but just to make sure! Thanks everyone!!!

Great idea... I guess my question would be, who keeps their WiFi on anyway? I personally only turn it on if I am of service area, or need to download something large (or sometimes Skype). But otherwise, my WiFi is NEVER on.

This is so old but thanks for the refresh

I leave my wifi on all the time.... then save $ with the 300mb plan. I turn data on only when not around wifi.

Not only is it old, it's wrong. Assuming you have a strong WiFi signal, WiFi uses much less power than 3g or 4g.

Just plug your phone in overnight and stop obsessing about battery life.
