I have rooted my Optimus V, no problems there. But I am wondering if it is possible to mount the phone as a drive (not the SD card, but the internal)?

I have ES file explorer, so I can see the contents of the phone on the phone. But am unable to on my computer.

If you mount it, then the phone would not have access to the data needed to run. Maybe setup a ftp server, or samba?
(much like the phone does not have access to the sd card when mounted)

So really the only way to move files around would be via cmd window? Was hoping to be able to use a program like jdisk or treepie to see why my internal memory is so full. I rooted to move all my apps off my phone and have roughly the same internal (if not less) space than I did before the root and move, despite moving ~20 megs worth of apps.
