Post-Froyo OTA, Charter email not connecting

Alright the ONLY thing that seems to be borked after installing the Froyo OTA yesterday is my Charter email through the HTC email app. I have had it setup and untouched since the beginning and now it will not connect to the Charter servers... the error says simply "alert network error". I no doubt have connection, whether 3G or Wifi, no difference. So I deleted the account and tried to set it up from scratch, identical settings, but to avail. SO, has something about Froyo likely changed the parameters that Charter's servers are expecting? Anyone having the same or similar problems?
