Post Lollipop update: Assigning Notification Sounds

After installing Verizon's Android update, the ability to assign different notification sounds is either missing or buried. It is no longer an option under application manager, app settings or on the applications menu. Grrrr. Anyone experiencing this?

I am not sure if it was always like this pre-Lollipop, but you can set notification sounds within each app (email, messages, calendar, etc.). Or did you mean setting different notification sounds for each contact...? I am not on Verizon but thought I'd check if this is what you mean by notification sounds or if you meant something else.
