I didnt see any change, The GPS still searches forever before it picks up signal and everything else runs the same.

Actually a lot worse used to find me in few seconds now takes minutes. on the other hand the weather is closer to here I am now.

Pull the battery for 30 seconds and the GPS will be much improved. At least, that is how it worked for me. Otherwise, download GPS Status from the Market.

Pulled battery twice will check the gps status
