I figured the photon community would enjoy showing off just how well the battery lasts on the MoPho. I use my phone extensively.

Can rooting help with battery life?
The biggest thing, IMHO, is that line that shows "phone signal". When it's green you're going to see really good battery life. My battery life is not as good, but I have very little green in my signal strength.Newbie question here: how are either of you getting such great battery performance?
Oh and the square icon, is an app called Screen Grabber, which allows you to take screen shots if you are rooted.

you do NOT need to be rooted for screen grabber...it works perfectly on my unrooted phone
I notice that you have your battery % IN the actual icon. Is this due to the rom? I ask in part because I'm running 'Battery Monitor' to display my exact battery % and Juice Defender. Both of these apps are always present in my notification tray. I've heard that notifications can drain the battery. Any thoughts? Also, What does Home Base rom give you that you don't get with stock? So here's an updated screenshot. This is with home base rom installed yesterday and over clocked to 1.1ghz. Not bad

Thanks.
I imagine that part of the reason for the long battery life is that your use of 4G is limited or nil.
