Matt (Short for Mathiakka, but it's actually legally just "Matt" now, it was shortened when I was adopted)

When did you find out you were adopted? How do you react to something like that?

I was 5 when it happened so was somewhat aware of what was going on.

Transmitted through spacetime.

Is that good or bad (that you were aware)?

I'd rather know than not know, but I wish we could have gotten it done sooner. Name changes are hard, even that young. My sister was adopted with me and they dropped her first name entirely and made an Americanized version of her middle name into her first name. They shortened and Americanized my first name and dropped my middle name. Add in two changes to date of birth and new social security numbers, and presto chango! New people!

That finding out method was better then how apparently a guy at my former school found out.
Science, with genes and eye colour. He stated that doesn't work my parents have X eye colour and I have Y. I am guessing the parents both had blues and he had brown eyes and the teacher had to explain to him that he might be adopted.

lol, my sister thought she was not related to me for a bit because both of our parents are really dark and she's blonde/blue eyes. Had to explain that there were both romans and greeks with blonde hair in history and how recessive traits work.
