Post Your Working AND Stable Settings For Unstable DX/D2 Overclocking App

I think alot of people are interested in playing with this app but like me know nothing about it and would like to see what others have found to be Stable settings. I tried 1.1Ghz at stock voltage but encountered freezes and app crashes for apps like Facebook, Angry Birds.

Please Only Post WORKING and STABLE settings. No one wants to melt their phones internals.

My phone is running fine at 1.15 Ghz at low voltage. I've run Angry Birds and other high-processer-use applications with no issue.

I should add I'm using Jrummy's app, not the unstable app.

Im running 1.25 max clock rate and 1.25 slot 4 both at 62 VSEL
Working like a charm . Quadrant in the 1700's .

I'm at 1.2ghz and 6.4 volts with my best quadrant score at 1724.

Keeping mine on 1.2 with no issues. Went to 1.4 and 1.45 for fun and ran quadrant scores of 1860. Left it that high for an hour but went back to 1.2. Using setcpu to set low on screen off as well. Played angry birds on 1.45 for 20 minutes with no issues.

How does your battery life seem to be holding up?

At 1.2 its the same as stock. It only gets about a 50 bump in quadrant. You can def see a difference from stock to 1.2.

Using overclocker they have set speeds with voltage picked out. No guessing needed. You could do some custom stuff.

I went off the 1.2 setting and dropped the min to 300,000 at 27 from 400,000 at 28. No issues. Phone being used for last 4 hours and still at 90%. Most days id be at 70% by now. Also using setcpu to have max at 300,000 when screen is off.

I wonder why mine freezes when i set it at 1.1ghz. Maybe I will get SetCpu and see if modifying some settings in there will help. Could the stress test be causing the freezes? Also there was an update this morning but i havent tried it yet

I don't run a test. Just use the phone and that's a good test. Make small changes at a time. The update let's you set your setting on boot but it waits 90 seconds so u can change them if something went wrong. I still have yet to set mine on boot. I just open the app and select my setting each time I boot.

You can do all that with the app. And change on the fly if needed. I do agree doing it without an app is fun but this is convenient.

Something must be wrong with my X. I have now tried all of the presets and they all result in freezing. It takes forever to exit the app after choosing a setting. When it does exit its extremely slow even just scrolling through the home screens to go back into the app to change it back to the stock setting(i hate doing battery pulls). Im lost, I dont know what could be causing this. The one time it didnt freeze immediately i tried running Quadrant and that came up with an error and FCed. FML haha

You need to make a custom slot. Change the 400,000 to 300,000. Right now your min is 400 so you can not go to 300 on setcpu. I made one off the 1.2 preset. Droped all slots volts by one and made 400 go to 300. No issues for two days. Fast and runs cool.
