Postings to FB goes to gallery and not folders

It's an annoying process to scroll down to find one pic to be posted. Why can't android correct it by directing it to folders to narrow the search. I used a Windows phone which was so easy to post pics on FB. Marshmallow n Nougat all same.

Because the system doesn't restrict what the app does, the app restricts what the user does. Facebook can be written to direct you to certain folders. (But then people would complain that they can't post their pictures in different folders to Facebook.)

Where you go when you're looking for pictures when you're running Facebook is determined by Facebook (the app). If you want that changed, email Facebook.

(BTW, there are no pictures in Gallery. Gallery is just an app, not a place. It shows pictures that are located in various folders.)
