Hello everyone. I?m a new user to this forum from PreCentral. I?m not sure what the atmosphere is around here so I would like to start by saying this is not a troll posting meant to inflame anyone.
I am currently using a Sprint Pre that is overclocked to 1G. My time for early upgrade was a few months ago so I am waiting until CES to see what HPalm may be offering besides the supposed Pre2. If there is not a substantially new device(s) announced, I may start looking at the EVO. I LOVE my Pre but I?m a techie that also loves new gadgets. Although I like the form factor of the Pre, I would like to see the screen a bit larger. I really like having the portrait slider keyboard. I had the Tilt a few years back and did not like it at all, so the Epic is out of the question. I understand that Android wipes the floor with Palm as far as apps are concerned, but that is not really a huge consideration for me.
So, I would like to hear from people that have used the pre and switched over to the EVO to give me the pros and cons of the devices. Oh, I also have to say that I played around with a friend?s Galaxy from T-Mobile and I was not impressed at all. But it was only 10 minutes or so and I heard that each Android device can be quite different.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
