Power Button is broke - Anyone know how to turn it through ADB

As stated in the title, the power button is broken and my phone is off. I was hoping someone knew how to turn it on through adb so I can at least make a nandroid for when I return it for a new one. Anyone out there know??? (crossing fingers)

you cant use adb to turn it on. Have you tried plugging it into your computer and then unplugging it? (my phone once was able to boot up like that)

Jcwxguy might be on to something. I recall my phone sometimes restarting just from plugging. Didn't always happen but worth a try.

You could try plugging it into the comp, running 'adb reboot recovery', then select the reboot phone now option

I guess the real question is... Does ADB run during charging? If so then that will work.

Also you could just do "ADB Reboot" instead of recovery.

just tried it. I get an error: device not found. I think you are out of luck if the power button is broken.

I believe there is a bug in CM7 where the phone will boot up if plugged in when it's off. that is probably how some people saw their phones turning on.

Hey.

If you plug in your phone to pc via usb and you press long the volume up button, it will put you in a mode where you can select normal boot.

This is how I turn on my phone.
