Power button on Droid X2 Doesn't Work

I dropped my Motorola Droid X2 and the power button no longer works. Otherwise the phone works fine, but the only way I can now shut if off is byu removing the battery. When I reinsert the battery the phone starts up and all is fine. Is there any way to bypass the power button? The phone is running Android version 2.3.5
